Fire cupping, or cupping as some people call it is a weird and somewhat disgusting form of massage therapy that I’ve had done to my back multiple times after an injury a few years ago. It leaves nasty bruises that are fun to show off to your friends and family, even strangers if you want to take that extra creepy step.
As Khabib works towards his return to the Octagon, he’s doing everything he can to make sure his knee is 100%, which includes taking the ancient practice of fire cupping and then adding in the medieval bloodletting variable.
Check him out in the picture he tweeted below, wearing a McGregor shirt and sucking the blood out of himself. That’s going to be really messy when the cups come off.
