Alistair Overeem says the toughest fight was with himself back in 2006

Even if Alistair Overeem is fighting himself, he can still inadvertently hurt you in the process. A thumb war with Overeem will never end in you fully retaining your arm. There’s no such thing as an ‘arm wrestling’ match with Alistair. Wrestling implies that one has a chance to win the bout — it’s more like a sacrifice to the MMA gods on behalf of Lord Reem.

Battling Overeem is an insurmountable task that can only result with a devastating knee to the head, torso — basically any part of the body. That’s why yesterday when we asked Overeem what was the toughest battle of his career, his answer made us just a tad perplexed.
