Jon Jones says his brother trains MMA and will smash Cain Velasquez

If we want to talk about Jon Jones in terms of quantum physics we might consider him some sort of conformal anamoly. The rest of us little protons and neutrons and hadrons and quarks are just plain old ordinary matter. It is probably best to watch a Jon Jones fight from that big seafoam green velvet recliner in your grandma’s basement in order to remain safe from any shape shifting or spacetime dimensional adjustments just being in the same room with him might cause. Could it be possible that the quantum phenomenon that is Jon Jones could be replicated in one or both of his brothers? Maybe it’s not quantum physics at all but just some mutation in the the ‘y’ chromosome these brothers carry.

Jones’ younger brother, Chandler plays football for Syrcause, his older brother Arthur is a defensive lineman for the Baltimore Ravens. Arthur Jones a is 320 lb 6’4″ defensive lineman that in Jones’ opinion is a better wrestler than he is. According to Jones in a recent interview with ESPN his older, bigger (in every way) brother has been training MMA and is considering fighting:

“I just talked to him today and he said ‘man, my jiu-jitsu’s getting so much better.’

“I guess he’s using his wrestling base, and his size alone is crazy to deal with. He’s just a smart dude. I think he’s going to do well if he ever gets cut or leaves the NFL. I’m biased. I really want my brother to be in the UFC with me; that would be so sweet.”

“He’s always been a better wrestler than me, he’s always better than me. I’ve never been a team captain. He’s been a team captain at everything, the football team, the wrestling team. Since day one, he’s been a leader. He’s just gifted. He just has timing, and body coordination, and light feet. Everything…”

“I think if you gave Arthur two years of training he could be very well considered one of the top heavyweights. He’s training it now…Cain Velasquez would get smashed!”

It’s still early on Friday so this might be a bit overwhelming for your brain cells to transmit if you haven’t had your bowl of wheaties just yet, but sit back and visualize the speed and reach of Jon Jones in a package that weighs about 100 lbs more than Jones does. Wow. [source]
