For those unaware, I spent all of last week hanging out with TapouT founder, Bobby Razak, in London working on some top-secret project that’s so mysterious, not even Jesus M. Christ has an idea what we did out there. The ratio of ‘partying’ to ‘business’ was a little unbalanced, but it was rightly deserved. In reality, the UK is a pretty depressing place. The sun is hardly out, everything is constantly covered in a blanket of moisture and rain, and above all else, everything closes at 8:00 pm. Yeah, I can’t understand it either — so I didn’t even try. Instead, I watched Logan’s Run like five times because it was much more enjoyable.
Razak did tell me about a Chris Lytle political campaign he was working on while we were stranded in England. Lights out Lytle holds the record for most ‘of the night’ awards, racking up a total of ten in just four years with the UFC. Now the retired fighter is focusing on knocking out whatever needs to be knocked out within the Indiana State Senate. If you live in the area, you should get off your futon and vote for Lytle out of sheer respect for the sport of MMA.
