A few interesting notes from tonight’s fight that I thought I would share with you since I’m an only child. At the end of the first round, 50% of everyone inside the IZOD center was yelling ‘F*** you Koscheck’ in absolute unison. During the fight, UFC showed Jon Bones Jones in the crowd and the entire arena erupted in boos. Also, there was a guy behind press row screaming ‘Go back f****** to Oklahoma!’ which was an obvious dig at Hendricks’ NCAA background.
If Josh Koscheck’s chin wasn’t made from alien metal alloy, he would have succumbed to the onslaught Hendricks threw at him throughout tonight’s bout. It seemed as if every punch Hendrick landed was laced in some banned chemical the US thought Sadaam Hussein had stored in Iraq.
While Johny Hendricks vs. Josh Koscheck was interesting, it was the first bout on UFC on FOX: Diaz vs. Miller that went to a decision — which means you were spoiled from Big Johnson vs. Pat Barry and Alan Belcher vs. Rousimar Palhares. Maybe you should alter your expectations a little. Damn, the world is never enough for you guys.
Props to Johny Hendricks on another massive win on somewhat hostile territory. He is now known as the AKA killer. Accept this as part of your reality. Thanks, have a good night.
