If you give Feijao thirty three seconds he will knee you in the face, punch you a dozen times then hop on your neck and make you tap for your life so he can get on with his day and do whatever a frightening light heavyweight named ‘Bean’ does on a Saturday evening in San Jose. This is the type of performance we have come to expect from the Black House pupil and former Strikeforce light heavyweight champion – pure bean violence. ’33’ usually makes me think of the back of Rolling Rocks and Smashing Pumpkin songs, but tonight it will be all about Feijao. Thirty three seconds is all it took for Rafael Cavalcante to absolutely steamroll over Mike Kyle and earn his revenge for a 2009 loss.
As soon as the bell rang the two light heavyweights sized each other up for about two seconds then Feijao exploded forward and landed a brutal knee to the dome of Mike Kyle, stunning him and rendering him to a punching bag. After a brief, wobbly scramble, they make their way to their feet and Feijao sinks in the guillotine like a boss and Mike Kyle taps. Wow.
