Shlemenko just said ‘Hello India, Hector: I kill you’ right after almost kneeing Minowaman’s head off

I just can’t get enough of Minowaman. The overhand right he threw which connected with Hong Man Choi’s jaw in the DREAM Super Hulk tournament also connected with my heart, making it almost leap out of my stomach. We’re talking about a guy who drop-kicked Butterbean in the head and TKO’d Sokoudjou. Minowa made his debut as a pro fighter in 1996! No matter who he faces, I will watch.

Today he faced the furious spinning backfist attack of Bellator Middleweight Tournament winner Alexander Shlemenko and unfortunately came out second. In a .gif battle Minowaman would have easily won, but in the cage Shlemenko pulled out his A-game and kneed Minowaman in the face so hard he was unable to recover. It wasn’t hard enough to stop Minowaman from attempting a knee bar but he was unable to stand after Shlemenko wisely backed off. The biggest story from this fight was not the result, but the post-fight comments from Shlemenko. Grabbing the microphone pro-wrestling style he stated “Hello India. Hector… I kill you”. Ladies and gentlemen, that is a rematch I would love to see.
