Having your teeth kicked in by a guy who went three arduous rounds with Alistair Overeem in 2010’s K-1 Heavyweight Grand-Prix is the only way to be introduced to The Netherlands. Last year after we dropped King Mo off at the airport to catch his flight to Amsterdam, Mo gave the MMA world a strong reason why everyone should wear a mouth guard before stepping into the ring with a guy that uses his feet to knock out people for a living. After an intense sparring session with Tyrone Spong, King Mo confirmed that his two front teeth were missing. Yep, knocked out of his friggin’ head by Spong. Now maybe you’ll appreciate that office job just a little more.
Eldar Gross, the director of The Reem, gave us the heads up about his new Tyrone Spong documentary entitled ‘King of the Ring.’ It’s still being produced and you can eventually watch the entire thing on Tyrone Spong’s official site, but you can check out the trailer just below. Also, if you ever find yourself in the Red Light District at 10pm, you will realize that Amsterdam has a superfluous amount of baby-back ribs and there is an undying need to give everyone an ‘all-you-can-eat’ deal on them. It’s strange.
