Russian dude risks his life to get the most extreme selfies, and it will make you cringe

The selfie is an interesting thing to have come about in the past few years. To be completely fair, it’s been around since the MySpace days but at that point it didn’t have the title of selfie. What makes the selfie so interesting is that you have to be self absorbed to take one, you have to feel that people care about seeing a picture of you. Which in most cases, no one cares about you or your selfie. That’s not to say they don’t serve a purpose, they do but there’s a selfie epidemic on our hands people.

Call me old fashioned but a picture is suppose to capture a moment, a memory. Something that tells a story without the act of actively telling you a story. A picture is suppose to evoke some form of emotion out of you.

Fortunately there are people who still take pictures that aren’t completely self absorbed and one of those people is Russian Kirill Oreshkin.

Thanks to stevemcawesome for the find!
