Do you think there will ever be a point in history in which film connoisseurs will unanimously agree that RZA is an action star? Has that quietly arrived and I just refuse to recognize it? Last year he starred opposite of Russell Crowe, Lucy Liu, and Dave Bautista in The Man with the Iron Fists, a film that not only he wrote but directed. That year he was also in G.I. Joe: Retaliation as 'Blind Master,' a movie that I still haven't seen in fear of any part of my childhood being ruined by modern Hollywood.
In 2014 we can see him in the sequel to one of the most underrated Tony Jaa movies out there, The Protector 2. Whenever martial arts and elephants blend together in some bizarre way, you should cancel all your social activities and run to see whatever it is. Fortunately they merge in a movie, not some half-assed circus show in Bangkok (although that would be really cool).
The Protector 2 comes out in US theaters on May 2nd, but the the press people at Magnet really dig MiddleEasy and they let us know they released the entire RZA vs. Tony Jaa fight scene for everyone to witness how hyper-unrealistic it would be in real life.
Zeus is represented by Galactus in his avatar image because he has an immature obsession with Marvel when they went all sci-fi back in the mid 80s. I'm the creator of MiddleEasy and Nickelodeon's The Adventures of Pete and Pete. Just kidding about the Nickelodeon stuff, but that would be really cool.
