Damn, the UFC just press released FOX terminated Chael Sonnen’s contract

We normally don’t post verbatim MMA press releases on MiddleEasy, but when it comes to Chael Sonnen sometimes you have to let stuff slide. Slide right in and out, like some type of sliding creature that slides a lot. If a sliding creature didn’t slide then I would point to it and proclaim ‘Dude, you’re not doing your job.’ Oh, speaking of someone not doing their job, Chael Sonnen is incapable of it — because FOX terminated his contract due to him being caught with a banned substance. Look, it says so right in this UFC press release.

Las Vegas, Nev. – The UFC and FOX Sports organizations announced today the termination of their respective broadcasting services agreements with analyst Chael Sonnen. This decision comes in light of Sonnen failing a second test conducted by the Nevada Athletic Commission for banned substances in June. Sonnen was previously under temporary suspension by the Nevada Athletic Commission for failing an initial test conducted in May.

When’s the last time the UFC press released the firing of any employee, even a fighter? Something strange is afoot here, folks.
