Josh Barnett slipped on his black (of course) wrestling trunks, marched out onto the mat at Metamoris and did what many thought impossible: He subbed Dean Lister. That makes him the first man in over 17 years (according to Dean) to accomplish such a feat, and Barnett pulled it off with a brilliant seated neck crank with only ten seconds left in the twenty minute match.
For the most part, it was Barnett in top control the whole way. Lister was game, but Barnett’s size and power dominated for 19:50 until he sat back into the crank. Check out the replay from Zprophet below.
Metamoris has been solid with some fun action, but seeing Barnett in wrestling trunks makes us hope for a Minowaman appearance in Metamoris as soon as possible.
