Blast to the Past: Bas Rutten gives commentary on his first fight EVER

Did you know that Bas Rutten is going through his entire history of fights and re-releasing them with commentary? Well, now you do. On Bas’s official YouTube page, you can find a plethora of classic fights with behind-the-scenes information and technical breakdown from the man himself, Bas Rutten. Last night I was caught in a vortex of Bas and Pancrase and I couldn’t have been more happy. As they say on the internet, #PalmStrikes4Eva. 

I don’t know if that’s a real hashtag, but it should be.

On this #ThrowbackThursday, let’s take a #BlasttothePast to September of 1993 and watch #BasRutten put some #Hashtags upside the face of #RyushiYanagisawa while Bas wears some #FunnyPants. All with #Commentary, of course.

Needless to say, I think we’ll be putting up one of Bas’ fights every Thursday. The commentary is golden. I love this.
