Nik Lentz Claims That Conor McGregor is Ducking Him

I guess, in a way, it kind of makes sense. A lot of fighters at Featherweight are going to feel like they were passed over, cast aside and caught up in the hurricane of hype that is Conor McGregor. You see, Conor McGregor is a bit of an exotic mixture for the UFC; he’s a fighter who is both talented and can talk, which is something that the UFC desperately needed to offset their roster of homogenous fighters.

Conor McGregor stands out in the crowd, which is something that we can’t say for a bulk of the UFC’s roster. There are going to be a lot of upset Featherweights when Conor McGregor gets a title shot, all claiming that they’ve done more, worked harder and are more deserving than he is. First up? Nik Lentz.

Nik Lentz is claiming that Conor is ducking him and calling him out. The thing is, with UFC 179 just a matter of weeks away featuring Jose Aldo vs. Chad Mendes, everyone is going to want to see Conor McGregor vs. the winner of that fight, nobody wants to see Conor McGregor vs. Nik Lentz. But Nik Lentz can call Conor out, knowing full well that Conor is going to move on to bigger and better things, then when he gets no response he can continue to claim that McGregor is ducking him. Brilliant, right?
