Fabrico Werdum and Mark Hunt star in sketch comedy show or live from Mexico City its Countdown to UFC 180!

Mark Hunt’s favorite number is five. Five fingers to a handshake. Five fingers to a signature Hunt walk-off knockout. When Mark Hunt makes a guest appearance on Sesame Street the number of the day will be five.

But when Hunt rubs elbows with Big Bird and Cookie Monster, will he be holding UFC gold? Let’s countdown with Hunt and Fabricio Werdum to UFC 180 this Saturday in Mexico City.

A key storyline in the build up for Werdum vs. Hunt for the UFC’s interim heavyweight title is the number one contender’s ability to train in the altitude of Mexico City for the last three weeks while the New Zealander has taken the five round fight on short notice. While working in the mountains of Mexico Werdum has also added the services of Ernesto Salgado Garcia, one of boxing champ Juan Manuel Marquez’s trainers, to his camp.

The oddest part of Hunt’s journey to the UFC 180 is his six hour layover in Canada for his flight from Australia to Mexico. According to MiddleEasy senior mapping experts as of this morning Canada is still over 2,000 miles north of Mexico.

With only 21 days to train for his first UFC title shot, every day is critical to Hunt. 21 days to train, 30 pounds to lose, and still five fingers to a punch. Hunt could’ve been the toughest mathematician the world has ever seen.
