Ricardo Lamas obliterates Dennis Bermudez’s seven fight winning streak with a first round finish

We here at MiddleEasy have been fans of Ricardo Lamas since he knocked out Bendy Casimir in the WEC. He’s reciprocated our love to him by answering our texts every six months or so. It’s a good relationship, and we appreciate it. Too often in MMA do we see our favorites and those close to us fall, that’s why we appreciate how well Ricardo has been kicking ass over the last five years or so.

In his interview with us this week, Ric told us that he was in his prime, and while he wasn’t looking past Dennis The Menace, it was obvious that he was prepared to destroy him in his quest to get back to the ultimate goal of Jose Aldo.

I say he fights (and beats) McGregor sooner rather than later. We’ll see.

If you missed it while a plethora of other fights were going down, Lamas and Bermudez traded strikes, takedowns and then Lamas dropped Dennis with a stiff jab and then sunk in the guillotine for the quick tap. Beautiful.

Props to MarkTX on Reddit for the replay!
