Tito Ortiz and Stephan Bonnar punch each other, Tito wins via split-decision and double middle fingers

Tito Ortiz vs Stephan Bonnar was a fight that was basically two old men (for combat sports) looking to reclaim lost glory with a wild fight. While it wasn’t the best thing in the world, it certainly wasn’t the worst. Many thought coming into Bellator 131 that this fight would suck, but it didn’t, and I enjoyed it. I remarked on Twitter that I was hoping for a bladejob of some sort, or at the very least a run-in by Royce Gracie or Randy Couture, but it didn’t happen. Tito and Bonnar met in the middle of the cage and went at it. And ‘it’ was fine.

In the end, Tito won via split-decision. I personally think he won unanimously, but I also think Mark Hunt beat Fabricio Werdum, so what do I know?
