If there’s one thing I’ve always been critical of when high level fighters end up in the UFC it’s the distinct lack of risks taken because they are finally at the big show. It’s been going on for a long time now and it’s kind of a fact of life; if you can play it safe and pull off a victory it’s a lot better than taking a huge risk and possibly losing. This is the world that we live in right now and that’s okay, fighters gotta make a living and being cut by the UFC doesn’t seem to make life much easier for anyone.
The thing is, those risks that can be taken don’t always pay off. Sure, sometimes they do like Anthony Pettis doing his Showtime Kick on Benson Henderson. But other times? Well, that is why this video exists.
