LAS VEGAS – Fans yesterday were disappointed to see a faceoff that provided zero fireworks despite a lead up to this moment filled with M-80s, bottle rockets and even a 99 shot repeating shooter. There were also sparklers and Roman Candles. Metaphorically speaking, of course.
Then a bucket of water was dumped on the smoldering cardboard embers emblazoned with Chinese imagery, and Jon Jones and Daniel Cormier didn’t even face each other. Thankfully, through the use of high-tech imaging software and the help of over 2 computers, we were able to create what it would’ve looked like had Daniel Cormier (15-0) actually faced off into the crowd with Jonathan “Bones” Jones (20-1).
Now the real question – why was Bruce Buffer making an Indian Call during the weigh-in?
