Formerly unconscious man denies being rendered unconscious by Anderson Silva

A formerly unconscious man has just denied being rendered unconscious by his sparring partner, Anderson Silva.

“I wasn’t out, I was just dizzy,” said the man who lost consciousness after being kneed by Silva during sparring. “I wasn’t out,” he repeated, for emphasis. The man also clarified, now that he is awake again, that Silva was not trying to hurt his de-animated body as it fell limply to the canvas. “The way they edited, looked like he was trying to hurt me. That’s not what happened.”

Yes, he clearly received an awareness-obliterating knee to the face from the Thai boxing phenom, sliding like a dead man down along the black fencing, but “when (Silva) realized I was dizzy, he didn’t punch for real. He was just touching his hand on me, giving me time to recover.”
