During a period marked with increasing protests over police brutality, not a single person has complained about UFC and Bellator vet Dave Herman getting shocked by police officers on Monday morning. Herman lead police on a no-headlights car chase down I-69 until he was finally arrested at a gas station. The officers even shot Herman with a taser after he approached them in an aggressive manner and refused to get on the ground. But no protest rallies are planned.
The UFC suspended Herman in 2012 after he tested positive for marijuana use. He lost four of his five UFC fights, then enjoyed a victory over Kalib Starnes at Titan FC 28 in May, 2014. Now, he is charged with felony counts of resisting law enforcement with a vehicle and battery against law enforcement. But surprisingly, nobody is accusing law enforcement of any wrongdoing.
