Breaking: Cain Velasquez will fight Fabricio Werdum! Probably at UFC 188, probably in North America

Heavyweights will fight for a UFC belt sometime in 2015. The current UFC interim heavyweight champion is Fabricio Werdum. The 37 year old Werdum is a grown man weighing less 265 pounds but weighing more than 205 pounds on any given fight day. As of press time non-interim UFC heavyweight champion Cain Velasquez also weighs less than 265 pounds and more than 205 pounds when he steps into the world famous Octagon.

Sources close to the situation have informed MiddleEasy that UFC matchmakers would like to eventually have the interim champ fight the actually heavyweight champ for a unification bout of sorts. Reports also point to Cain Velasquez fighting Fabricio Werdum sometime in the next 12 months. Rumors on the internet and unnamed sources claim UFC 188 will be held on Saturday June 13th at an undisclosed venue.

According hearsay and rumblings Velasquez versus Werdum could occur at UFC 188 on Saturday June 13th. The UFC would probably make the heavyweight title fight the main event of a number UFC pay per view like 188. The undercard of UFC 188 will likely consist of two UFC Fight Pass fights and four fights on a Fox Sports station that will dubbed the “UFC 188 prelims”.

Online fans may or may not complain that a certain fight should not be on Fox Sports but should really be on the pay per view portion of UFC 188 instead. Fists will be shaken in angry. Weeks prior to UFC 188 a fighter booked to fight will get injured. The UFC will replace the injured fighter with a guy or girl online MMA fans may or may not have heard of before

Details for the location of UFC 188 are still on the hush per unnamed sources. Reports point to the Velasquez versus Werdum title fight not taking place in Tokyo, Japan, Sydney, Australia, or Dublin, Ireland. All insider sources think the location of UFC 188 being Los Angeles, Mexico City or Las Vegas. UFC 188 will probably take place at some location on the North America continent.
