Felice Herrig, a female UFC fighter famous for her various face-offs with forgotten opponents, accidentally cloned herself Thursday.
“I guess I took too many selfies,” she said, reflecting.
And according to physicist Ben Schudemacher, she may be right. “The law of averages, combined with an overworked cell phone camera and a bit of quantum fluctuation magic, produced an exact replica of Herrig,” he explained. “It even emerged wearing an identical Headrush sports bra.”
“Thankfully,” he continued.
“It was a million to one shot,” Herrig calculated. “But given that it was my 950,000th selfie or so, it wasn’t real surprising.”
The futures of the new companions are uncertain. They were last seen competing for each other’s attention in a Chuck-E-Cheese photo booth in Glendale.
