I’m from Kentucky. I’m the salt of the earth, so maybe I just can’t wrap my head around Ireland and why they’re rooting for this impish man in obnoxious suits. Is this really all Ireland has? Shouldn’t they be in church, or killing people for not going to church? Or killing people for going to the wrong church, or maybe finding a nice spot for their trailers to rest? What is it about Conor McGregor that makes all of Ireland go “yeah, I like that”?
Maybe Irish people are grasping for anything they can hold on to. God knows they’ve had a hard life. Maybe they deserve this Conor McGregor. The belt-stealing maniac who can work a mic like he was born from the sperm of Chael and the eggs of Stephanie McMahon.
