Listen, Bisping is fun and all, even if his schtick hasn’t changed much in the last 5-10 years, but that doesn’t mean he still isn’t fun. CB Dollaway is what he is. A guy that kind of has an eternal “who farted?” face. That’s his gimmick. Dollaway just kind of looks slightly weird. Not even really weird. He probably gets chicks and heas a fine life despite his slightly weird look. He’s like, 15% weird looking. Unlike some professional wrestlers or even MMA fighters, he can’t build a career on that, as the threshold is 50% weird looking, so he just takes people down and holds them there.
MMA is now homogenized to the point where we’re getting headlines about Dollaway versus Bisping, and we have to talk about it. Sad. Dollaway said this to FOX Sports:
“I have a fight plan for Bisping,” Dollaway teased. “I’m not going to give you details about, but we have a way to take him down. I just want to prove that I belong in the title picture and I know a win over Michael Bisping will put me back in that title picture. An impressive victory will leap frog me up there.”
“I’m going up there, and I’m absolutely going to electrify Montreal,” Bisping said. “The people in Montreal will pay, so they will get what they pay for, which is to see a spectacular fight and none other than C.B. Dollaway being left face down on the floor. That’s what everyone wants to see. They want a knockout, and they’re going to get a knockout, believe you me.”
Then Bisping said this to MMA Junkie!
“Luke Rockhold is going to beat Weidman later in the year. I’ll beat someone in summer, and then I’ll get my rematch with Rockhold. He head-butted me in that fight, and then this time next year, I’ll be the champion. There you go.”
Looks like Bisping is as excited as us for this fight.
