The Nevada Athletic Commission is power tripping. Thanks to new measures Nick Diaz now is facing a three year ban plus a 75% loss of his fight purse. The NAC does not believe in casual Fridays, only strict measures to end your work week Fridays. Leave your Hawaiian shirts and common sense when it comes to drug testing at home on Fridays.
During a routine monthly meeting the NAC proposed then quickly passed a laundry list of stiff and much harsher penalties for combat athletes competing in their state. Now a failed drug test results in an automatic loss in Nevada. Without consulting the promotions or fighters that fight in their state, the NAC bypassed everyone and is now regulated by a ridiculous set of new drug testing rules.
By the way if you trip up in Nevada guess who gets to hear your appeal? NAC all day, every day! The NAC is ruling the fight capital of the world with an iron fist. Check out and bow down to the new NAC.
