What. The. Hell. What the hell did we just see there? Seriously. Someone explain what we just saw there, other than arguably the greatest round in heavyweight MMA history.
Travis Browne and Andrei Arlovski were friends, former training partners. They knew each other in and out, but still they stepped up and let leather fly immediately. Travis Browne took tons of damage, then dropped AA with a brutal blow, but instead of staying down, AA came back and delivered even more punishment until the ref mercifully stopped the bout. What the hell.
It’s like Andrei had his chin shattered, and then got titanium implants which have rendered him an absolute killer. This was truly something. To think AA is likely the rightful #1 contender after Werdum and Cain fight in 2015 is… I don’t even know. That fight has me buzzed. I’m drunk off violence and nostalgia. What a cocktail.
