2015 has been good to us in terms of pure fights. We can complain about drugs, fighters and promoters being douchebags, Reebok, politics, people being gay for Jesus and more, but on a pure fight level, we’ve been treated to some really good shit this year. That much is undeniable. One has to look no further than arguably the best featherweight fight of all time in Jose Aldo versus Chad Mendes 2 from UFC 179. A perfect combination of a real feud, and two dudes who are willing to punch each other hard and talk shit, with extremely high level skills on the mat and on the feet, this fight encompasses everything that’s great about the sport of MMA.
And with a possible Jose Aldo/Chad Mendes versus Conor McGregor fight going down in a little under two weeks, what better place than here, what better time than now to enjoy this battle – for free. If you haven’t seen this fight, you need to. You really need to. Every second of this fight matters. Literally, 25:01 of it is fantastic.
