Rematch! Andrei Arlovski pitches Fedor on coming to the UFC, says he wants to fight him next

After beating Travis Browne in one of the best fights of the year, UFC heavyweight contender Andrei Arlovski now has his sights set on revenge. Arlovski doesn’t want your everyday revenge, he wants sweet Russian revenge. Six years after Arlovski and Fedor Emelianenko headlined Affliction: Day of Reckoning, “The Pitbull” wants his second shot at the GOAT.

Even though Pride FC was buried nearly a decade ago, the cache of pitting a former Pride champion versus a former UFC champion is still strong deep down in the hearts of the MMA community. Under Arlovski’s proposed plan not only would Fedor be making his debut in the UFC but it would be versus a legitimate top four heavyweight contender with a likely title shot hanging in the balance.

From Arlovski’s latest blog post

“If Fedor is coming back, he should come back to the best MMA organization in the world and UFC is that! I have always sought out to right the wrong in my career and have been very successful so far. He is who I want to take on next!

That’s the fight everyone wants to see right now and I want to deliver what my fans want!!

AA”

Your move Scott Coker.
