While there is a flaming Reebok sponsored tire-fire off in the distance UFC fighters Jessica Eye, Khabib Nurmagomedov and Fabricio Werdum are just over here loving their Fight Kits. The trio loves their Reebok threads so much they had to tweet about it at nearly the exact same time. Crazy cross fit coincidence? Or calculated public relations damage control?
The latest UFC-Reebok debacle revolves around longtime combat sport’s cut-man “Stitch” Duran being fired from the promotion for his opinions on the Reebok sponsorship deal. In a recent interview Duran stated he personally lost a ton of outside money when he was made to wear Reebok gear only while keeping fighters safe in the cage. Duran would also go on to say that most of the fighters he spoke to also disliked the UFC-Reebok relationship.
Not Eye, Nurmagomedov, and Werdum, they are very happy with their new Reebok pumps in your shoes overlords. Yup, looks like nothing to see here but love for some comfy and affordable Reebok merchandise.
