Can she make weight? Tito Ortiz says Cris Cyborg was offered title shot vs. Ronda Rousey at Cowboy’s Stadium

While talking about himself on Inside MMA Tito Ortiz kind of dropped a bombshell. According to close Ortiz sources, Cris Cyborg has been offered a title shot at Ronda Rousey. Say what now?

Said Ortiz:

“I’ve heard from Cris [Justino] actually that the fight that’s supposed to be happening at the Cowboy’s arena… they offered the fight to Cris. I know her management said yes and I’ve told her, ‘Let’s do it.’ So I guess the ball’s all in Ronda [Rousey]’s corner and Ronda wants to do it. Dana said if Cris came down to 135 they’ll make the fight happen, so let’s see if Ronda accepts the fight.”

First off Cyborg has zero fights in the UFC. Second of all Cyborg hasn’t made 135 pounds. Third of all the UFC’s hasn’t even officially announced a card at Cowboy’s Stadium. Fourth on the list of points that may derail Ortiz’s scoop what about the five fans (yes, five) who wanted to see Rousey smash Miesha “Cupcake Tate? Tate was announced as the number one contender by the UFC after she dispatched Jessica Eye.

Did Ortiz just let a huge cat out of the bag? Or is Dana White and the UFC’s biggest star really good at hiding their hand? Maybe Cyborg vs. Rousey is closer than we all thought.
