Few things in MMA are as stunning as Esther Lin’s photographs. They juxtapose the violence with a still beauty that perfectly captures the moment in context or not. While the Focus series comes and goes seemingly at random, there was no better event to put into focus than UFC 189 – one of the most brutal and special events in UFC history.
While there’s no wrong time to revisit UFC 189, this is especially impactful through Esther Lin of MMA Fighting’s lens.
