Let’s watch Kazushi Sakuraba teach us how to pull off a camel clutch submission in a real MMA fight

On mixed martial arts’ Mount Rushmore, Kazushi Sakuraba beautiful war torn mug deserves its own engraving. Ten years removed from his last Pride fight and four years into his MMA retirement Sakuraba body is a road map of Japanese MMA history. When not grappling Renzo Gracie at Metamoris or shooting an angle in New Japan Pro Wrestling, “The Gracie Hunter” is filming instructional videos.

Sakuraba is not only teaching about the finer points of adapting catch wrestling to MMA he’s also wants the world to successfully perform pro wrestling moves in a legit cage fight. We support Sakuraba on all his unique endeavors. The 46 year old Sakuraba can next be seen stateside along with Fedor Emelianenko and Frank Shamrock at Bellator’s FanFest prior to their September 19th Dynamite card in San Jose, California.

When you meet Sakuraba at a San Jose Dave & Buster’s don’t ask him about his 90 minute fight with Royce Gracie or his trilogy of wars with Wanderlei Silva, ask him how to apply a modified reverse camel clutch submission in an actual MMA fight. Sakuraba knows subs.

Bonus!!!! Shout-out to Bob Backlund because Sakuraba will make you tap from a cross-face chicken wing.
