The Battlefield messageboards and social media channels are on fire with all of the glaring haterade being spewed forth from the damning eyeballs of shooter nerds across the universe. No, not because Battlefield Hardline is a cops vs. robbers game. No, not because BF 4 is still unplayable to many on PC and next-gen consoles, with connectivity issues still reigning supreme.
It’s because Battlefield 3 is being given away on Origin for free.
Many call EA one of the most evil companies (not me, that’s Activision you’re thinking of) but talk about creating a way to sympathize with them. Will these ‘fans’ bitch about everything? The answer is clearly yes. I’m just happy BF3 is free to some of my friends who may not have it yet. Now we can play together.
If you have BF3 already, you can pick up Plants vs. Zombies for free on Origin instead until June 3rd.
