Destiny’s weekly strikes are now hidden behind dLC

I purchased an Xbox One on Black Friday, I didn’t want to, I didn’t have this feeling that I needed one but I knew eventually I’d get one and getting one for this cheap made it a no brainer. I knew it wouldn’t be any cheaper for a while during this most recent Black Friday sale. There was only one game that I really wanted to play and that was Halo: The Master Chief Collection. Sure there are some problems, the matchmaking isn’t good, there is only ranked in the remastered Halo 2, in Team BRs in Halo 2 Classic you only start off with one grenade when you should start off with 2, they have 5v5 in Halo 2 Classic which was never a thing in Halo 2, they don’t have a playlist solely for Halo CE. Yet, I can’t stop playing it, even with all the problems.

I find myself playing it till 5 AM at times. Sure, it might just be because I have such nostalgia for those games, but man, Halo 2 classic multiplayer is so tight and well crafted. Which in contrast with Destiny isn’t all THAT different.  Except for the fact that the single player and co-op was promised to be this enormous grandiose game changer. Well, it just never met those due to lack of content. Now with the release of the first DLC for Destiny, there will be even less content for those who don’t purchase it. The weekly Strikes are now going to be hidden behind the DLC, so if you want any of those fancy weapons from Xur, you better shell out 20 bones for it.
