Chris Weidman just defeated Anderson Silva at UFC 162, wait...what?! LOL! WHAT!

Wait, what? Is this real life? Take me to the parallel universe in which this didn't happen. You know, the same one where Werdum didn't finish Fedor in Strikeforce.

Wait -- hold up. Last month we did a list of The Top Ten Highly Unlikely MMA Conspiracy Theories That Some People Actually Believe and the #5 entry was the curse of the mysterious UFC poster. Now according to the theory, all the champions have lost in order from left to right since the poster came out.

Tonight, the conspiracy holds true. Anderson Silva lost to Chris Weidman. LOL, ah man. Man!

Look, to be honest -- we're not entirely sure about the state of MMA after tonight. I know you felt a portion of your soul vacate your body after Silva was KOd in the second round. We all did. So what happens now? Well what happened is Gabriel Gonzaga just lost his KO of the night bonus. Damn.

There's a strong possibility that I will wake up in a few minutes and realize that it's still Saturday morning and UFC 162 never occurred. Is this a dream? Are you readers just a figment of my bizarre imagination.

Wait -- what the [expletive] just happened tonight?!

Look, I know you guys don't want to see this .gif -- but we have to do it. I mean, damn. Props to Zprophet has always.

Zeus @MiddleEasy

Zeus is represented by Galactus in his avatar image because he has an immature obsession with Marvel when they went all sci-fi back in the mid 80s. I'm the creator of MiddleEasy and Nickelodeon's The Adventures of Pete and Pete. Just kidding about the Nickelodeon stuff, but that would be really cool.
