It's pretty sad that journalists are already getting their fingers ready to disrespect Rampage Jackson immediately after tomorrow's UFC on FOX fight against Glover Teixeira -- completely disregarding the legacy the guy has established in the MMA world. Rampage spoke out about an organization that he's made millions for (and made millions from) and people are pretending like he never did this to Ricardo Arona. The fact remains that Jackson is a fan of exciting fights and he believes the wrestling pedigree has essentially removed the luster from MMA. rampage will always be a legend and one of my favorite fighters, but like a lot of the old guard he didnt keep developing his game and instead just relied on what got him there. i hope he goes to bellator and not even for the king mo fight...he still has some gas left in the tank and can put on exciting fights...just dont match up against a wrestler

Being pissed off about lay & pray-ers in MMA is like being pissed off about campers in FPS games. It's effective, they win, but it's considered being "cheap" to run & gunners just like lay & pray is cheap to guys who just want to stand and fight. It doesn't matter anyway, Rampage is done after this fight, he says Chael is the only fight he wouldn't duck, he's ducking out of fighting in the UFC period, so technically he's ducking potentially 30 or 40 guys. I've been a Rampage fan since his Sakuraba fight, I've enjoyed his antics, talking on his cell while he's being introduced in PRIDE, getting fined for wearing paint and chains to the ring, slamming everyone in sight, putting on entertaining fights, but he's done. Time to go act in B-movies or collect big money from smaller promotions who can't afford it to beat on C-level opponents.
