Uriah Hall forced Adam Cella to astral project into the next plane of existence by pulling off the greatest knockout we've ever seen in all the years of The Ultimate Fighter. Late in the first round after keeping his distance and peppering Cella with jabs, Hall threw a round house that landed directly on the chin of TUF contestant Adam Cella. I think a big part of Uriah's KO comes from the way Cella hit the ground afterward. When you hear his head crack against the canvass with all the whipping force provided by his body's falling dead weight... just brutal (the gif just can't capture the effect without the audio). But yeah, Barboza's was executed better and Bisping's was more entertaining.

That talk that he had with Uriah about the sports psychologist and how Randy Couture could never "kill the voice" was really unexpected, insightful and ...awesome, really. I get the feeling that if it were any other coach, we'd hear an unhelpful cliche pep talk about how "winners just get in there and do it" (which, really, can be doubly discouraging for someone who has concerns about their pre-existing doubts).

I'm not really shocked that this season has been better than the naysayers were expecting, but I'm really glad that it's nevertheless been able to surprise me, too, with how good it's been shaping up to be. If you haven't tuned in yet, you should.

He's a good guy and I can only imagine what his family was going through when they saw that, the kind of KO that makes you wonder if his career just got shorter by a noticeable margin. chael's turned me around. i wouldn't consider myself a fan of his fighter or persona at times, but he's an enigmatic personality and simply a better coach than jones. jon is making himself look like an even bigger ass this season than people initially thought. he fucking sucks as a coach.

fas as the ko. that was visceral. hope that dude recovers ok, uriah is a beast, the timing was next lvl. a solid wrestler would stifle him easy though if he could avoid uriahs knees and clinch game.
