The title of this article only makes sense if you’re Tito Ortiz or Cyborg Santos. Then again, Ronda Rousey did fight at 145lbs back when she first joined Strikeforce.

We hate this situation as much as you do, so it pains us to continue talking about it. It’s that same kind of pain that happens when your foot falls asleep while watching a long monologue in a video game; then it’s time to play and you try to sit up, but you realize your foot is asleep, so you have to hit pause and try to shake it out. Eventually, you resume playing, and never give it a second thought.

Screw it, I don’t know who’s running from who or which girl is ducking which other girl. All I know is that the world of women’s MMA needs this fight to happen at any weight class. The democratic solution would be to flip a coin and have each girl pick which side of the quarter would land face up. Then the winner could choose what weight this fight takes place at… But realistically, Tito would insist on picking whatever side Ronda Rousey picks, and we’d be right back where we started.

Tito, we know you’ve retired from men’s MMA but now you’re just aggravating women’s MMA. Please stop advising Cyborg to leave the UFC. We need her to fight Ronda before packing her bags and heading for Invicta! Maybe this situation needs more trash-talk from both ladies to find a resolution. I don't know why every time there has to be someone to hate on, I mean, Ronda does what's best for her, Cyborg does what's best for her, why hate on them? Does anyone here really thinks they are scared? That's an argument an idiot like Rampage would use. If they are scared of something, it's not about fighting, it's perhaps facing a darker monetary future, something every human being persisting on money is afraid of. Cyborg seems nice, she speaks correctly, she's not the most beautiful woman out there, are we going to hate her for that? Not every woman and not every man has the same ratio of testosterone, are we hating her for having different genetics? Are we hating her for making an erroneous but human mistake? She's a one of a kind athlete, everyone who likes the sport should respect her despite all the mistakes she could fall in.

Back in the day, Riddick Bowe ran from Lennox Lewis by throwing his own championship belt in the trash and refused to fight him. He did all of this while trying to say that Lewis wasn't a worthy opponent. Never mind the fact that he was knocked out by Lewis in the Olympics. In this case, Cyborg is refusing a fight in the world's biggest promotion against the world's top female fighter for a reason that's just as dumb. If she can't make it happen then it's because she doesn't want it to happen. I know steroids are probably the last thing she wants to give up, but if she really wants redemption and another shot at greatness then this fight, with Rousey, is it. Personally, I think it's fine that Cyborg wants to run away from this fight. If she doesn't want it then it's probably not worth watching in the first place. After all, it must be difficult to take a fight in which she won't be the bigger, stronger fighter.
