The ice in Gunnar Nelson's veins has ice running in its veins. The guy cracks a smile as often as people reject an unexpected seventh chicken wing in an order of six. We've been telling you about Iceland's Gunnar Nelson ever since he made it in an episode of our (now defunct) 'Powerful Submissions' series on March 2012. He still may be flying under the radar, but only because you've made a conscious decision to ignore the undefeated 24-year-year old. In fact, the last time Nelson even saw the second round, Elite XC was still in business, Barack Obama was going head-to-head against John McCain to be President of the United States, and everyone thought Michael Jackson would live forever.

Nelson made his MMA debut at the age of eighteen, and although his first bout was ruled a draw, he's never let a fight go to the judges since then. He learned a life lesson when he was a teenager while you were busy hording Dave Matthews mp3s on Napster. Shame on you.

In Iceland, eating the head of a sheep is like snacking on a bowl of Froot Loops late at night. We've published a picture of Nelson devouring the skull of sheep a few months ago, and most of you felt the need to give a dissertation on the diets of various Nordic cultures in the comment section. Now we have this NordicMMA video of Gunnar Nelson telling a story about eating sheep's head, and then uses a word that will have you convulsing on the floor in laughter or your money back.
