I believe it was Michael Bisping who said that if you can't be there naturally, you shouldn't be there at all (I don't know his history so maybe he's a hypocrite). I know weed isn't the same thing, and some will say "he should be commended for it! He beat a guy while stoned, that's even harder!", but if a doctor has said he needs a banned substance in order to survive and compete, I guess he probably shouldn't be competing. It's the same as the TRT guys, I don't think anyone who needs testosterone should be fighting. If you NEED Testosterone Replacement Therapy, if you don't physically produce enough testosterone to be able to work out or be alive or whatever their excuse is, you shouldn't be fighting.

I like marijuana, I smoke marijuana, I think it should be legalized and everyone should smoke it but if you break the rules, no matter how dumb they are, you should get fired. If Dana White said "You can't say the word banana on camera" and Riddle did it, he would be fired. Its not about pot, its about rules that were in place when he got hired yet he still decided to break it.

Like I said before, marijuana is not performance enhancing. As long as he doesn't show up to the octagon with bloodshot eyes and a bag of cheetos, I think it should be ok.

No matter who won that last fight, either fighter was getting cut. That tweet doesn't have every fact. Riddle is a boring fighter, and an undercard one. Silva tested positive for PED once, the second one was for POT. Of his last 6 fights he lost 3, and won 3, 2 overturned. Also, he played bongos on Vera. Also, Silva failed the test on a complete different substance, it wasn't his second strike on the same penalty.

Never thought that much of Riddle. He's been fighting TUF level dudes since he got in the UFC. He's a constant prelim fighter who apparently refuses to learn the lesson. I'm not against weed by any stretch of the imagination, when you have to meet with the brass and fight to keep your job from one positive test how stupid are you to immediately do it again? It's not like he had any leverage like past title shots, constant fight of the night contender, fight finisher or anything like that. He was a roster filler, now he can go to Bellator and get deaded.
