Last March, just days before telling us that he has finally 'cleaned up his life', War Machine was involved in a brawl outside a San Diego night club. When cops arrived, he tried to flee on foot but they eventually caught up with him and placed a spit bag over his head. It was too epic of an event not to have video of and today, footage has finally leaked. Props to jtsintegra for the amazing find.

Update: WarMachine just twittered this minutes after we wrote this article: "Weak! Looks like Ill be doing a year in San Diego County jail. Prolly gonna go in about 2 weeks..ugh. Gonna be SO boring! No delicious food, no training, no wifee, no friends. Whatever tho when I get out my partners and I will be opening our sick gym in Austin Texas and Ill be righ back to fighting. Jail is DUMB. All it does is press the PAUSE button on your life. What's it supposed to teach you? Anyway, who knows some bad ass books I should read!?"

They are absolutely going to love that name of yours too, and I have no doubt they are going to put it to the test. War machine, fighting just became a little more important for you. He's going to San Diego COUNTY JAIL not San Quentin STATE PRISON. Also, he's a trained fighter that loves to fight outside the cage. Most likely we'll be hearing stories of him brawling with CO's and trash talking other inmates.

knsd should focus on hiring reporters who check their facts. she claimed "UFC fighter War Machine..." when he doesn't even fight in the UFC. they dumped his ass for this kind of behavior a long time ago. attention to the world: the UFC and MMA are NOT the exact same thing. All football isn't NFL, all baseball isn't MLB, all basketball isn't NBA, and all MMA ISN'T UFC.

Really a year? That Defense Attorney was really helping in the cross. Was he checking his e-mails there @ :31? It looked like ole War Mac was keeping all the guys running in, from getting to his bar mate. Then outside the footage has him with what looks like four guys and two running up to cause him harm. That is typical San Diego/Navy bar code of behavior. Be happy that was not Bas having a beer. He may not have been a gentleman and put the glass down. sounds like he was doing his job to me.. and sure that kind of stuff happens a lot but not with a trained MMA fighter that has a history of violence.. but since it was a bar fight everything should be ignored? cmon man use your head the world doesn't work like that.. and if it did and as for the sentence hes getting what he deserves maybe this will wake him up..

Now I don't want to sound like a War Mac hater I actually liked watching him in the UFC he was one of my fav's to win his season of TUF but he has made bad decisions in his life and I hope this is a reality check..

I fight MMA and I did 5 years in prison(not proud of it). Everybody on here who thinks prison tough guys will beat a trained fighter like their picking on a normal inmate are idiots. For the record NO fight I had in prison were near as tough as anything I ran into in the ring/cage.
