I'm rooting for Shogun, but goddamn a lot of the Bones hate is unnecessary and unfounded. He acts confident, and people (who are probably still mad about the whole pot thing) start saying his cocky and not humble? Wtf? Sure he's seeming less humble and like he's buying into his own hype here lately, but the way the UFC has saturated their pre-128 coverage with the kid what do you expect?

As for "being cocky" for being sure he's going to win - it's a world title fight. Not only that, but it's a fight. You CANNOT go into a fight, especially one of this magnitude, and be like "well IF I win" or "I can when IF this happens." You have to have it in your mind that you're going to go in there and decisively grab that W.

You get paid to hurt the person standing in front of you, and Jones is mad creative at doing that. Chances are he likes what he does.
Pretty sure that goes against most if not all faiths. I had the same question with Ali as well.

the fan reaction to jones in past 2 days has been more intense than the reaction to the bisping spitting incident, i still fail to see whay fans are hating him for showing confidence and speaking his mind about religion, and idols like ali, tyson, and bruce lee.
