If you want to see a heavily caffeinated Wallid Ismail bash boxing and defend UFC, today is your lucky day

I elbowed every ketchup bottle, vanilla scented candle and empty cereal box I could when I initially saw this post-event interview of Wallid Ismail filmed over the weekend. This video was shot in the cage just moments after Jungle Fights 33. The event was held deep in the middle of Cidade de Deus (or 'City of God' for all of you non-Portuguese speaking individuals). If you've seen the movie, appropriately titled 'City of God,' then you're well aware of how violently intense the area truly is. Cidade de Deus is one of the largest favelas in Brazil and Jungle Fights 33 was held inside a temporary structure right next to the police station. Most of the crowd originated from the favela and according to our buds at Connection Rio, the rambunctious crowd made the fans at UFC: Rio look sedated. No one was allowed to bring alcohol within the premise, however free energy drinks were widely distributed to the audience -- and Wallid Ismail. In fact, Wallid was so jacked up on energy drinks the entire night that throughout this video the 'cracking' sound is Wallid Ismail crushing empty cans of energy drink with his bare hands.

Now if you want to see a heavily caffeinated Wallid Ismail destroy Bob Arum and Gary Shaw while avidly defending Dana White, the Fertitta brothers and MMA in general -- today was designed for you. Enjoy this iPhone/iPad compatible gem filmed in conjunction with MiddleEasy and Connection Rio. Props to The Underground for the illustration of Wallid.
