Brian Stann Vs. Hector Lombard is the type of fight that will raise the testosterone levels of anyone in the vicinity of the octagon come August 4th in Los Angeles with no guarantee of the T levels normalizing anytime soon. On one side of the ring you have an owner of a 24-0-1 record in his last 25 fights and one of the most intimidating figures in MMA, and on the other side you have Brian Stann; a guy who fears nothing except fear itself - and even then Brian Stann is the kind of guy that would probably take his shirt off and grapple with a physical manifestation of fear just so he could prove to himself that he could do it.

No upcoming fight better represents the immovable object/unstoppable force paradox (assuming both objects are indestructible, which Hector Lombard very well could be) than this fight right here. Joe Silva deserves a sporting pat on the butt for this one.

better for stann to take the fall - he has enough fanbase and general patriotic qualities to be assured a very generous run with the ufc regardless of losses, hector needs a few to ensure that dana doesn't just boot him as soon as he is given the chance. hope to see some close fought heavy artillery warfare and then some hector magic in the second or third.
