Pat Barry might be the friendliest, nicest guy in the UFC. He even tod me he loved me once mid interview...I think he just said it to get me to stop asking him silly questions though. See what a nice guy, he was trying to save me from embarassing myself during my first face to face interview ever. Pat's so nice that even after he took a pretty hefty beating by Lavar Johnson-the two hung out last night post fight, drinking beers and taking pics and making videos as though they were the two best friends ever.They even appear to be sporting the same hairstyle-just on opposite sides of their heads. (Side note: Did anyone else notice that Lavar Johnson has an uncanny resemblance to another large Johnson named 'The Rock'?) Check out the pics HD tweeted of himself and Lavar hanging out in a hotel room chuckling it up like BFFs in the wee post fight drunken hours of the night. You have got to love this kind of fighter camaraderie.

I don't get why I'm seeing so many people hate on Barry...he looked pretty good, I mean who expected to see him get mount AND try a sub in the same fight...he just got caught against the cage and that's the one place you can't get caught against "big" Johnson

Barry still has potential to be great. His problem is he seems to enjoy getting hit or atleast doesn't seem to mind it cus he never moves to avoid punches.

He has the speed and agility to bounce in and out/stick and move but Its like the guy likes to absorb punishment instead...

I was thinking yesterday that maybe Barry should try and make the move to 205. The guy's only 5'11, and fights at his walk around weight. In a few of his fights he definitely seemed winded...what do you guys think? Barry at 205 could be scary, he could be fast as fuck, his kicks in that weight class would be much more dominating imo. Something he should think about. I mean if he was winning at HW yea sure stay there, but losing 3 out of your lost 4 is shitty. Roy Nelson too, make 205 man that would be an epic fight, Nelson vs Barry @ 205...

Man Pat makes me nervous everytime he fights. If he'd learn not to just stand there and get rocked like he's blocking wearing bigger gloves in a kickboxing match I think he'd do better. The MMA gloves always seem to make it through his blocking. I'd never bet money on him because of it, hopefully he improves and gets some wins. Mad cool dude! If UFC boots him he should work here, probably would be some funny reads
