If you did, you would have noticed that Roger exhibited no obvious signs of deception, using Illustrators (talking with his hands) instead of Manipulators (pulling, rubbing, tapping one's own body obsessively). This is an indicator that the subject is telling the truth.
You would have also noticed that Roger's eyes would shift to the left when he recalled the events of the trip. The shifting of eyes indicates that Roger is recalling a memory, if he simply stared straight ahead, he would be lying, making up an event with no memory to back it up. He never once raised one shoulder slightly (an indication that the subject has no confidence in what they are saying) or displayed any micro expressions detailing guilt or shame.

Thinking you know how to read body language and knowing how to do it are two completely different things.

My oldest brother thinks it's hilarious, my youngest brother thinks it's interesting. I haven't talked to my middle brother in over a year..I'll ask him (he is very similar to Roger). Maybe that will get us talking again.

My whole family pretty much thinks this entire situation is hilarious. They know me and wonder how Roger isn't madly curious about WHY I'm so interested in him. It isn't that groupie bullshit either. My grandma thinks I should be an actress, which kind of blows my mind.

I am sorry if Roger is scared/nervous, but he hasn't made any effort to tell me to back off. If this really bothered him, I'm sure he would tell me to stop. He doesn't know me. But he has to be curious. I hung out with him at least 8 hours total the first trip. The dinner was close to 1.25 hrs. His life moves at a fast pace, his sense of time is warped... it's hard for him to slow down and spend time with anything "real." I literally watched him get inundated with fan autograph requests, while he was trying to tell me how he hated being back in his home town. He opened up and shared with me, and though it was brief, it was enough for me to say "Yes" when another opportunity came up to meet him in November.

I will try to back off my "stalker" approach and take a different approach so that this all makes more sense to him... my honest intent is to help him. Anyone with half a fucking brain can see he's struggling bad.
