Not doubting Ubereem’s manliness, but statistically, Chael Sonnen is the manliest man the UFC has ever seen. He did so while being a 4:1 underdog, which by gambling standards in a parallel universe, would be the equivalent of the betting line Bob Sapp gets against an opponent like Junior Dos Santos. Statistics are confusing. Despite outstriking Anderson standing, taking him down repeatedly, and passing his guard at will, Chael Sonnen is entering the rematch with Anderson Silva as a 2:1 underdog. Some of you don’t give Chael a chance in this fight while others don’t think Anderson has a prayer of stopping the gangster from Oregon’s takedowns. Not even the UFC knows what’s going to happen, so they made this video illustrating the statistics to thoroughly confuse you ahead of this Saturday’s rematch at UFC 148.

Anderson fought 1/2 assed last time & made Chael QUIT. Chael gave up lol. This guy is going down hard, just like Franklin, Belfort, Irvin, Leben, Griffin, Okami, Marquardt... etc. Don't be shocked if this fight ends quickly with Anderson getting his hand raised via KO in the 1st round.

The change from a 4:1 to 2:1 underdog is incredible. And he did lost that first fight, albeit at the very end of round 5.

You can't call Chael the favorite since he lost to Silva and barely beat Bisping. And after Anderson's fight against Vitor, it's hard to call him anything but the favorite going in.

That said, Sonnen, TKO round 2. I don't think Chael will try to wrestle this one out.

We had a 17:1 TE Chael vs injured, dragging his feet and no body movement Silva and now "Clean" (as much as 6:1 is allowed so who knows?) Chael vs a Healthy Silva.

I know I'll probably get bashed by the guys who believe the Sonnen hype more then the many losses on his record, but IMO I just see another Silva highlight reel. Another submission for Silva is the logical choice, but I would love to see a Rnd 2 KO or TKO.

PS: Bisping is trash who crushes cans, loses to anyone even close to top 10, and stole a Win from Hamil...and he still had people saying he beat Chael.

Yeah. I love how people always fail to mention that Chael's performance was tainted. It should have an asterisk beside it.

Yes, he gave Anderson his most competitive fight, but he also had a 16:1 testosterone ratio. Bisping was always a middle of the pack 185er and has been rocked by damn near every opponent he's faced. He's had favourable decisions in fights a lot of people think he lost. And he still thinks he beat Wanderlei! The fact that he was getting the better of Chael leads me to believe that Chael no longer has his strength advantages when his testosterone levels are lower.

I mention it all the time and get shit for it. Chael's fans should be glad he loss. If he won he would have been stripped immediately and I'm positive the fallout would have resulted in Dana giving Chael PED Sonnen the banhammer.

Anyhiw, lightly tapping your opponent in an effort to avoid the ref standing you up are "shots"? I just seen Fedor do more damage to Rizzo with three REAL SHOTS than Chael did to Anderson with 100+ I can't believe they even counted have of those taps as strikes

Its all about style match ups, unless silva has developed some serious takedown defense I see it being a long fight. Honestly I don't think Chael was focused on any other fights, he has silva on his mind and that's it. Big dicks in ya ass are bad for ya health!

How high were Chael's testosterone levels after the fight?? He did get suspended after all...

Yeah its funny how Sonnen fans as well as Joe Rogan seem to leave that fact of Sonnen having the testosterone level of 17 men for sure made him fight 10 miles over his head. We saw the difference of what sonnen looks like fighting with only the testosterone levels of 6 men in the rematch. NOONE including the UFC should have ever given Sonnen any credit PERIOD for his TAINTED-CHEATIN G performance in the first A Silva fight.
