Dana White is a master practitioner in verbal kung-fu. Calvin Ayre from Bodog tried to call out Dana White only to have his entire Bodog Fights shut down over night. Gary Shaw from EliteXC called Kimbo the 'Tiger Woods of MMA' and made rants against Dana White a daily routine. The guy's organization went under as well as the entire parent company, ProElite (although it was recently bought out, but then sort of just went away once again last year). Of course, we all remember Tom Atencio who set his MMA beef coordinates directly at Dana White. Former friends turned foes -- organization goes under, and foes once again turned to friends. Sounds like something off of Gossip Girl. If Dana White was an honorary member of the X-Men, his mutant power would be the ability to completely demolish your self-esteem within seconds. It's the equivalent of that scene in Poltergeist in which an entire two-story house melts and gets sucked into a black hole filled with lightning, thunder and horrible 80s special effects.

While John Prisco, the owner of XFC, hasn't formally called out Dana White just yet, he did say that all of the top talent in MMA is not in UFC and even went so far to claim that XFC will be the number one MMA promotion within five years. Anyone who knows the XFC, knows they design individual fight posters and internet fight cards for ALL of the fighters on the card. Every fighter gets their own XFC specific images, bio pages, etc.

A good fight is a good fight. The XFC, OneFC, and a small group of other promotions out there are starting to get it.

You shouldn't have anything but respect for a promoter that believes in his company. He didn't say WE WILL BE #1. He said I believe we will be #1. Big difference in a Direct Threatening Statement vs A Believable Actual Possibility

Not sure why so many people are taking this interview like it was a threat.

This promotor is the most unprofessional and back stabbing person I've ever encountered. The thought that they would reach UFC status or higher is most far fetch thing I've ever heard. This is just typical exposure. He says something outlandish and people rave over it.....nice try! People see this promotion for what it is if they know the guy. This interview wasn't a reach for exposure, THIS website wrote the title for this article to create hype and hits on their site. Use your common sense people. (Good idea by the way middleeasy!) Check out the XFC before you judge them by a title. You'll see what their about.

Everyone is taking one line of this whole interview (the part that mentions his belief that he can be #1) as if he just stole your manhood. Who doesn't want to be the best at what they do? It's one of the most professional things I have seen in a while.... someone who is dedicated and believes in their product. Kudo's Mr. Prisco

Furthermore, there is plenty of room in this sport for more than 1 descent promotion to co-exist. Especially one like XFC who is discovering the next generation. So the XFC would rather focusing on those with under 30 pro fights, why does this offend you?

Never seen so many people who are against someone that believes in achieving their goals. This thread is classy!

The XFC has thousands of fans already. They are only 5 years old and doubling their show count every year. They are the top product on AXStv, set attendance records various areas, etc. They have lots of fans....and yes I am one of them. I am a fan of most MMA promotions, if you have a good product, you have a good product. MMA is a sport, not just the UFC.
