A club sandwich is quite possibly the greatest of all sodium laden sliced deli meat sandwiches. Its made of the trio of standard sandwich meat greatness: turkey, ham and roast beef. Its the perfect sandwich for when you're feeling indecisive and dont know what kind of meat you want to stuff in your mouth. It gives you all three flavors in one delicious mouthful of meat. It can be considered the deli meat 'total package'.
If I apply that sandwich meat logic to this FightHub.tv video interview with Cain Velasquez, then Alistair Overeem is the club sandwich of MMA because Velasquez says that The Reem is the 'total package'. Just last week I compared a JDS vs The Reem fight to a giant plate of delcious bacon. Now I'm comparing Alistair Overeem to a meaty deli sandwich. Maybe my diet is just lacking in protein or maybe talking about fights between these heavyweights is an evil Pavlovian experiment conducted by Zeus and my meat cravings are just a conditioned response to all of it. I don't know but go ahead and watch this video while I make myself a sandwich.
